You`ll follow the route of the explorers, walk portions of their trail, stand in their campsites, and view the broad mountain vistas that they viewed, as you follow the Lewis & Clark Trail via the famed Lolo Motorway with your guide. You`ll hear of the explorers` struggles and triumphs as they crossed the rugged Bitterroots and listen to inspiring, humorous, and sometimes harrowing stories of their journey. You`ll also learn of the Nez Perce Indians, walk parts of the ancient Nez Perce Trail, view several of their sacred sites, and learn about the Nez Perces` interactions with the expeditionists.
